Hovercraft Update - the guys wrangled "Big Blue" out to the cottage where it now resides in
the shop. Ray has taken it out just once and "flew" it around on land without mishap.
Our granddaughter helped Ray built
a better ramp so the hovercraft can be "flown" out the shop. He buzzed around quite successfully and feels he is starting
to get a feel for "flying" the beast. Getting it in and out of the water is a different matter -- quite a steep angle
so the truck and some help are necessary..
We had visitors this summer and hoped they would
be interested in a bit of hovering. Instead, they helped build a much improved (though still delightfully primitive, lol)
boat ramp out of logs so no complaints. It is now possible to launch the boat without Nena sinking knee deep in slimy mud.
Nice.
